My Approach as a Counselor
I am a recent graduate of Radford University with counseling experience working with diverse populations, including high school students, college students, and adults. I have supported individuals in improving their mental well-being and navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, substance use, stress management, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and interpersonal relationships.
My counseling approach is client-centered, emphasizing the belief that each client is the expert on their own experiences and personal journey. This approach encourages the development of self-awareness, self-worth, confidence, independence, and healthy coping strategies while fostering personal insight and resilience.
I am passionate about creating a supportive and compassionate environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped with practical coping skills to achieve personal growth and resilience.
